• The goal of the PALS course is to aid the healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes
• Identify impending signs and symptoms of respiratory failure, shock and cardiac arrest in the patient
• Demonstrate Basic Life Support, Vascular Access, Arrhythmia Recognition and Management, Cardioversion and Defibrillation, Advanced Airway Skills
• Assess and evaluate unstable cardiac rhythms, shock, respiratory failure and their treatment in case scenario
