The goal of this module is to review the clinical relevance of Diabetes Insipidus, SIADH, DKA, and HHNK in accordance with the AACN's test blueprint. At the end of this course the participant will be able to:

• Name three symptoms of Diabetes Inspidus
• List and describe five symtpoms of SIADH and treatment protocol
• Compare and contrast three differences between DKA and HHNK

The goal of this module is to review the pathophysiology and treatment modalitys of common gastrointestinal abnormalities. At the completion of this module the participant will be able to-

• Describe three signs and symptoms of GI bleeding, pancreatitis, and bowel obstruction
• Name and describe the treatments available for pancreatitis, gastrointestional bleeding and bowel obstruction
• Name four causes of gastrointestinal bleeding

The goal of this module is to review the basics of the stress response, bleeding, platelet function, DIC, and blood replacement. At the completion of the module the participant will be able to-

• List three vital functions of blood
• Name four factors that contribute to the developement of DIC
• List four risks of blood transfusion

• Name and describe three structures of the pulmonary system
• List all the steps involved in performing a proper pulmonary assessment
• Describe V/Q perfusion matching and it's revelance to patient care

• Name five structures of renal anatomy
• Define terms: GFR, reabsorption, and excretion
• List four causes of acute renal failure

The goal of this module is to introduce the participant to the AACN blueprint, application process and study techniques for reviewing for the PCCN/CCRN exam, as well as highlighting the "synergy model" introduced by the AANC. After this module the participant will be able to:

• List five steps in the application process
• Describe three steps involved in the recertification process
• Define the synergy module
• Explain the synergy module as it relates to clinical outcomes

The Purpose of this module is to review essential serum electrolytes: their levels and function in critical care. At the completion of this module, the participant will be able to:

• Name seven essential electrolytes and their effect on the body when at abnormal levels.
• List the seven  accurate serum levels of these essential electrolytes.

The goal of this module is to review the essentials of neurological/neurosurgical nursing in preparation for the CCRN examination and to review the basics for behavioral abnormalities in the ICU. After this module the participant will be able to:

• Discuss neurophysiology and neurological assessment of the adult.
• List and discuss nursing interventions of care for the patient with neurological disorders.
• List and discuss common nursing interventions for patients with behavioral abnormalities in the ICU and their families.
